Support the Whitemarsh Foundation's efforts to preserve Erdenheim Farm

Efforts to save one of Whitemarsh Township's most unique assets - Erdenheim Farm - have begun in earnest with the creation of the Whitemarsh Foundation and the approval of a tax-based initiative to raise funds to purchase a portion of the Farm (see links to articles below).

Preservation Efforts Tame Retirement Community Concerns - Philadelphia Business Journal - 2/11/2005 - Article discusses the tax incremental financing (TIF) initiative recently approved by Montgomery County, Whitemarsh Township and the Colonial School District, which will direct certain real estate taxes toward the purchase and preservation of a portion of Erdenheim Farm.

Happy Trails - Philadelphia Inquirer editorial - 3/21/02 - In an editorial, the Inquirer supports granting a change in zoning so that portions of Erdenheim Farm will be preserved.... "It's a deal Whitemarsh Township officials would be wise to support."
